Help us grow bike riding in Queensland

Are you an innovator, start-up, tech expert, student or entrepreneur? We need you to help grow bike riding in Queensland.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads, with the support of major sponsor Aurecon, is holding Australia’s first-ever hackathon about bike riding – BikeHack19.

BikeHack19 will be a fast-paced, high energy weekend looking for new and different solutions to grow bike riding in Queensland.

Who is BikeHack19 for?

You don’t have to be a Lycra®-clad cyclist or even know how to ride a bike to hack. We want a fresh take whether it’s bike tech, gamification, design, data, support services or a new business idea.

Why you don’t want to miss out

Prize money: There is $25,000 in prize money up for grabs across 4 categories, extensive networking opportunities and access to world class mentoring.

Experts: Subject matter experts will be made available to you throughout the weekend.

Venue: Access Aurecon’s world class office building on King St, Fortitude Valley, an innovative space inspired by sustainability and urban renewal.

Networking: You will have access to investors and other networking opportunities.
